Our entire team at Woden Dental Centre are extremely friendly, caring and welcoming, so you can always expect a warm welcome when you visit our practice.

When you arrive at our clinic, Lakyn is the first person you will meet, and she is responsible for scheduling & co-ordination, billing and communication.

We’re also fortunate to have Jane, Swati, Natasha and Shristi who provides direct patient care at the dental chair side.

Dr Dheva Sundar

BDS, ADC Cert (Sydney)

dhevaSince graduating in 2004, Dr Sundar has spent the last 10 years practising as a dentist in Canberra. She has completed extensive post-graduate training at La Trobe University, Royal dental hospital of Melbourne and Fellowship in Implant Dentistry, University of Miami, USA. Currently undergoing a “Master class” program in surgical implant dentistry, University of Melbourne.

Dr Sundar has many years of experience in treating numerous general and more advanced dental issues. She loves seeing people of all ages, from children to great grandparents at our family-oriented dental practice.

Dr Sundar strongly believes that dental wellness is an inseparable part of general wellness and she makes every effort to help you to achieve this. Her vision is to provide caring, comfortable and comprehensive dental care. She is able to offer patients minimally invasive and long lasting dentistry.

Dr Saranya Talluri


Dr Saranya Talluri​Dr Saranya Talluri graduated dentistry from the University of Adelaide and has spent the last 3 years practising as a dentist in Canberra in both the private and public sectors.
She has continued to update her knowledge and skills via continuing professional development courses and is experienced in treating patients with complex medical problems and anxious patients.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys travelling, cooking, and exploring local businesses. She loves hearing about what her patients have been up to and is always keen for a recommendation for entertainment or restaurants.

She believes prevention is the best approach to dentistry and believes in educating her patients and identifying potential problems early to maintain optimal dental health as well as general health.
She aims to provide compassionate, gentle care and work with all patients to prevent problems arising and help them achieve their oral health goals.

Dr Deepti Kaushik

Deepti has a gentle and caring chair-side manner combined with a relaxed and flexible approach to her work. With over 12 years of experience in this field, she is committed to providing patients with the highest quality of care and preventative treatment whilst offering long-term successful treatment options.

She enjoys all facets of General Dentistry and keeps up to date with current philosophies and technology. She has special interests on Root Canal Therapy, TMJ problems, Crowns, Extractions and equally enjoys treating adults and children.

Outside of work, Deepti is a dedicated family woman, she listens to music in her free time and likes to go on walks to explore and learn from nature.

Dr Thomas Ethell


Dr.Thomas Ethell DentistOriginally a Canberra boy himself, Thomas was a student at Canberra Grammar School and grew up in Griffith. Since then, he has received his degree in Dentistry from Charles Sturt University where he practised both rurally and in metro areas including Orange, Dubbo, Wagga Wagga, Bathurst and Sydney. Thomas then moved to Taree gaining further experience in all facets of general dentistry. After too many years away, Thomas finally returned home to beautiful Canberra in 2017.

Thomas is a highly skilled and passionate Dentist who strives to provide pain-free treatment for all patients. He strongly believes that providing patients with treatment options and comprehensive treatment planning is the key to long term oral health. Thomas is friendly, easy-going and very caring. Whilst highly competent in all areas of general dentistry, Thomas particularly enjoys straightening teeth with Invisalign treatment, safe and efficient tooth removal and aesthetic restoration of broken and decayed teeth. He keeps up to date with the latest techniques and is a regular attendee of seminars and courses in many areas of Dentistry.

In 2019 alone, Thomas completed the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Primary Examinations, the Orthodontic Long Course Parts 1 and 2 at Sydney University and shorter courses on topics including wisdom tooth removal, all whilst holding a clinical tutoring role at Charles Sturt University in the School of Dentistry and Health Sciences.

Outside of Dentistry, Thomas enjoys reading, photography, most sports and the great outdoors. He is currently undertaking a life long dream and is partway through obtaining his pilot’s license. Until then, his remote control aeroplane will have to do!
