Even while wearing clear aligners, you can still eat the foods you love and participate in your favourite activities. It will also result in fewer dentist visits because there are no brackets or wires to repair, and can be easily removed whenever you need to eat, brush or floss.
To start, you will wear a set of Invisalign clear aligners for 1to 2 weeks, as prescribed by one of our dentists. We will also schedule check-ups every 6to 8 weeks so we can follow your progress. In order for your clear aligner to work, you’ll need to wear it for the next 6-18 months for up to 20 to 22 hours a day.
More complex corrections can be made through a full course of Invisalign. But if teeth cannot be corrected with clear aligners, we may refer you to an orthodontist for further treatment.
To ensure your clear aligner stays in top condition, brush them gently with a toothbrush. The Invisalign cleaning system will also help to keep your clear aligner fresh, with special cleaning crystals to remove plaque.
The price of Invisalign differs from patient to patient, costing between $6000 to $9000 for a full treatment and from $4500 for minor treatment. But overall, it’s a worthy investment for a long-lasting smile.
